Joe has built successful companies in the radio, internet radio, local online, and tower industries. With an emphasis on complicated and difficult transactions, Joe has also acquired, turned around, and sold numerous properties, creating significant value.
As a founder and Managing Director of Angel Street Capital, Joe has invested in and worked with more than 25 companies, in the digital media space, assisting with strategy, M&A, and business development.
From 1993 until present, Joe has been the President and CEO of Aritaur Communications, a holding company that owned and operated numerous radio stations in the North East, and several local online portals. Additionally Aritaur owned Net Radio Sales, the first internet radio sales network, which was sold to Katz Media Group, and was the majority owner of Ando Media, the standard in internet radio audience measurement and ad insertion, which was sold to Triton Digital.
Joe was a founder of Tower Ventures, LLC, and Tower Ventures Inc, selling the first sold to American Tower and the second to National Grid.
Joe sits on several of Angel Street Capital’s portfolio company boards, and is the Chairman of the board of the nonprofit, Friends of mvyradio, Inc.
Joe graduated with a BA from Georgetown University with majors in Classics, and English.
Joe is based in Newport RI, and Eleuthera, Bahamas.
